Going solar is easier than ever, and in Illinois, we are a leader in solar power. At 1818 Renewable Energy, we provide the expertise, equipment, installation, and maintenance services to modernize existing and design and build-outs of new facilities in a wide-array of industries.

We handle it all, including design, engineer and install rooftop, ground mount, building integrated and carport solar structures.

1818 Renewable Energy also works with solar developers to provide construction and installation services.

Veterinary Specialty Center

When Rhonda Feinmehl and Mitch Robbins decided they needed a bigger animal hospital, they went all in on sustainability. Better for people, planet and pets, they posited. The new facility, located at 2051 Waukegan Road in Bannockburn, features a healthy indoor environment, a green roof, living walls and a 144kW solar array designed and installed by 1818. The solar panels cover the animal hospital’s roof as well as a carport over the employee parking lot.

The vets, a husband-and-wife team, have devoted themselves to providing the best care for their four-legged patients and their two-legged clients. Their new hospital, the area’s only Level 1 trauma center, reflects that commitment.
